County Antrim in Northern Ireland sits largely on deposits of basalt, an igneous rock formed by rapidly-cooling lava from ancient volcanic eruptions.  This rapid cooling creates some incredible shapes and textures as can be seen at the famous Giant's Causeway, with its columns of hexagonal stones.  These textures and shapes are reflected in this collection.
